Jesus Christ is the One True and Living Son of GOD. We are led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is an equal and Divine member of the Triune Godhead. The Holy Scriptures tell us that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We are able to receive the free gift of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ. Upon our repentance, the Holy Bible teaches us to go through water baptism as an outward act of our profession of faith. Water baptism doesn’t save but is an ordinance given in the Word of God. We take the Holy Communion as ordinance from God as a sign of our remembrance of Jesus Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection. As Christians, we must study the scripture and evangelize as the Great commission spoken by Jesus Christ to His disciples.
As His disciples and as the Body of Christ, we must not forsake fellowship one with another. We must show love and forgiveness. We are to bring our first fruits to God and be faithful to Him.
In this life, we will have trials, but we are of good cheer because the Lord has overcome the world. At Resurrection, we worship serve and pray faithfully being watch believers awaiting Jesus Christ’s return. We don’t know the hour or the day, but we believe and serve as if it could be today.

Are you a disciple or member?
The ministry of Resurrection Baptist Church prays for the Almighty GOD to lead men, women, boys and girls that are hungry and thirsty for Christ's righteousness and salvation. We are not in prayer for bigger attendance, bigger buildings, bigger cash. We seek to make new disciples for Christ and to foster growth and development for all Christian believers. The Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
The Lord Jesus says, “If I be lifted up, I’ll draw all men unto Me.” Our congregation of believers and our ministry staff lift Jesus up. We are seeking disciples not members. So what is the difference and how can you tell.
Members make excuses not to worship. Members don't treasure fellowship one with another. Members refuse to follow the Word of GOD. Members ignore GOD's commands. Members don't give of themselves or their belongings. Members complain and cause division. Members don't study. Members don't care. Members don't fear GOD. Members care only what people think and never what GOD knows. Resurrection Baptist is prayerful for disciples not members.
If you are a member let's pray together for repentance and deliverance. Become a disciple for Christ. Resurrection Baptist is the Worship home for you!
